Gluten Intolerance Group of North America
The GIG is a non-profit organization, committed to providing support to people with gluten intolerances, including celiac disease, dermatitis herpetiformis, and other gluten sensitivities, in order to live healthy lives. They provide support and education to both healthcare professionals and members of the public, and supports research projects.
GIG also provides support and education programs for manufacturers and the hospitality industry include attendance, lectures and exhibits at industry meetings, consultation with industry members. Through programs such as the Gluten-Free Certification Organization and the Restaurant Awareness programs, they encourage and support the industry working to meet the needs of persons with gluten intolerances.
